Eight new parks we want to see on Westworld

Medieval World

Welcome to Medieval World, a Delos destination set in the Middle Ages. In this park, visitors can choose to be a knight and ride in tournaments, winning fame and glory. Become a lord or lady of a prominent family and rise at court through political maneuvering and manipulation. Or, should you choose to go the route of Ned Stark in Game of Thrones, build a reputation for being the most honorable person in the land, but be careful not to lose your head.

If winning crowns isn’t your thing, try the life of a traveling Hedge Knight or Hedge Wizard as you wander the kingdom pledging your services to members of the nobility. Or sit pretty in a castle while your attendants see to your every need. Medieval World can be as pristine or gritty as you want, encompassing everything from Camelot to Game of Thrones.

Adventurers who choose the “Hedge Knight” narrative should be wary, however, as the Knight in Black — a visitor who stays in the park for extended periods of time — has been known to actively oppose other knights looking to build their own legend. He is highly skilled and takes his narrative very seriously. It’s said he is looking for something but has yet to find it. Best to just urge your steed into another sector if you see him coming.
