Take the Black Podcast: And now our re-watch begins…with “Hardhome”

Welcome back to another episode of Take the Black Podcast with House Razor, the shameful family secret of Take the Black Live with House Selcke. This week, the Lady Isis couldn’t join us, so clearly the episode is barely palatable. Still, we soldiered on to briefly discuss some season 8 filming news before getting into the meat of the cast: a thorough look back at the Game of Thrones episode you chose last week: “Hardhome.”

Don’t forget: the Take the Black Podcast is now on iTunes! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Blog Talk Radio, so try us there, as well.

Our topics include:

  • Several prominent Game of Thrones cast members descend on Seville. What does it mean?
  • The King’s Landing set in Belfast got a major makeover.
  • Cory Thone took actual notes about for our discussion of “Hardhome.”
  • We analyze Tyrion’s demeanor upon meeting Daenerys in light of how things go in later season.
  • I think Karsi (Birgitte Hjort Sørensen) should be the MVP of the season.

As usual, Take the Black leans heavily on the NSFW side (beware of F-bombs). Also, we discuss some season 8 filming SPOILERS. You’ve been warned.

We’ll be back in two weeks to discuss another episode, and we need your help. Hit the comments below and let us know which episode from seasons 1-7 of Game of Thrones you’d like us to rewatch and review.
