Vote on which episode of Game of Thrones we review next on the Take the Black Podcast!

Last week on the Take the Black Podcast, we reviewed the eight episode of Game of Thrones season 5: “Hardhome.” That’s because you, dear listeners, chose “Hardhome” from a list of several suggestions. Next week, when we record, we’ll once again be reviewing an episode, and once again, it’ll be chosen by you. But don’t worry; along with our rewatch and reviews of classic episodes, we’ll still cover all the news and rumors surrounding season 8.

Two new additions to this week’s poll come courtesy of WiC user Winter is Here, who suggested “Dragonstone,” the first episode of season 7, “The Mountain and the Viper,” the landmark season 4 episode where Oberyn and Gregor Clegane get too close for comfort.

“Dragonstone” was a fantastic season premiere, starting with the show’s sixth-ever cold open: Arya Stark’s massacre of House Frey.not the least of which was Arya’s revenge against House Frey. We got our first ever glimpse of giant wights, and Daenerys Targaryen finally landed on the shores of Westeros.

Don’t forget: the Take the Black Podcast is now on iTunes, and Google Play! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.

“The Mountain and the Viper” is known for sporting one of the show’s most famous fight sequences, but plenty of other things of note happened, including Daenerys banishing Jorah Mormont (for the first time) and Arya and the Hound’s arrival at the Bloody Gate. Remember the laughter.

Both episodes are great choices. Now, without further ado, it’s time to vote:

Which Game of Thrones episode do you want us to rewatch and review on the Take the Black Podcast?

Voting will close on Sunday, May 27, right before midnight. In the meantime, don’t forget to check out Take the Black Live with House Selcke on the Winter is Coming Facebook page every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. CST.

Valar Dohaeris, y’all.
