Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones

What happened this week in the wonderful world of Game of Thrones-related news? Well, quite a lot, actually. The cast (former and current) had a wild and crazy time at a series wrap party, we interviewed Hannah Murray (Gilly) and got some juicy tidbits for season 8, and the King’s Landing set on the lot at Titanic Studios went through a major change (hint: it was dragons). Let’s make like a smoke baby being birthed by Melisandre and head on out.

First up, we take a look at how characters on the show would look it they matched their ages from the books. Trust me, it gets weird.

Next, here’s the cast and crew getting wild and crazy at the Game of Thrones series wrap party. Nobody gets krunk like Jason Momoa, and we have photo proof.

Hannah Murray (Gilly) teases doing new scenes with new characters in season 8. Who could they be?

In our interview with Hannah Murray, she teased an ominous ending. Oh, come on, like you thought the end would be rainbows and lollipops?

Could Gendry (Joe Dempsie) break the heart of diehard GendArya shippers and actually marry Daenerys Targaryen by the end of Game of Thrones season 8? It would once again unite the Houses Targaryen and Baratheon like they were during the time of Aegon the Conqueror.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Game of Thrones sound designer Paula Fairfield and she got us all hyped up for season 8!

In our Game of Thrones celebrity roundup, we learn that actor Dean-Charles Chapman has a new gig, and OMG LOOK AT BRIENNE AND JAIME IN MATCHING SHIRTS! Sorry, I don’t know what came over me.

A massive green screen dragon rig showed up on the set of King’s Landing at Titanic Studios in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Well, they had to have some reason for all the fire damage.

A new video emerged showing smoke rising from the wreckage of King’s Landing. We’re not saying dragons did it, but we’re also not, not saying dragons did it either.

Just when you thought filming for season 8 was through, the Dothraki ride back into action.

Want to know how one of the most lovable characters on Game of Thrones has lasted so long? Daniel Portman tries to explain. #Prayers4Podinseason8

Finally, new details emerge regarding Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie’s (Ygritte) wedding. They’re going to be married by a Benedictine Monk in a castle. You know, totally normal stuff, you guys.

In all seriousness, we wish nothing but happiness and long life to the happy couple. Theirs is the only royal wedding that matters, and we’re so here for it.
