The penultimate episode of Westworld season 2, “Vanishing Point,” airs this Sunday. As it does every week, HBO has released several photos ahead of time. This week, it looks like we’ll learn more about the Man in Black’s messy relationships with his daughter Grace (Katja Herbers) and wife Juliet (Sela Ward), the latter of whom committed suicide before the Man in Black committed himself to Westworld in season 1.

In Episode 208, “Kiksuya,” Grace retrieved her severely wounded father from Akecheta (Zahn McClarron) and the Ghost Nation tribe. This week, she will look at him incredulously, because wouldn’t you?

We’re also in store for some flashbacks. Here’s the Man in Black (or William, as he’s known in his home life) talking to Juliet at a swanky party:

William cleans up nice, although he looks like he’d rather be killing hosts:

Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) will return in “Vanishing Point.” We assume that Dr. Ford is still tagging along in his brain, which must be taxing.

In “Kiksuya,” we learned that the Ghost Nation tribe calls Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) “Deathbringer,” which is a hell of a nickname. She’s staring intently at something in this photo, although she looks like she’d rather be killing guests.

As usual, HBO has released a synopsis for “Vanishing Point,” and as usual, it’s less a synopsis than a short poem that captures the mood they’re going for. “Try to kill it all away, but I remember everything.”

So that’s two episodes in a row that revolve around remembering. I’ll remember that.

“Vanishing Point” was written by Roberto Patino, directed by Stephen Williams, and airs this Sunday at 8:00 p.m. CST!
