Will Maeve find her daughter?

Maeve has been trying to find and reconnect with her daughter since season 1. In fact, it is her memory that drove her to break free of her narrative. In season 2, Maeve finally found her old homestead and her daughter, but just as their happy reunion was just beginning, the Ghost Nation tribe showed up and Maeve grabbed her daughter and fled.

When they reached an abandoned town, the Man in Black happened upon them, and Maeve used her newfound mind powers to have the hosts in the area shoot MIB. However, before the final shot could be delivered, Delos QA showed up and shot Maeve, nearly killing her. She is then taken back to the Mesa where Charlotte Hale has technicians flay her alive in order to learn the secrets of her powers.

While she lay on the operating table, Akecheta approached Maeve’s daughter and told the story of his life and how he became free, knowing that Maeve was listening to him through her daughter. In the end, Akecheta promises to take care of Maeve’s daughter and leaves to find the Door. Later, Dr. Ford pays her a visit, and grants her access to her powers once more.

Can Maeve escape the Mesa and find Akecheta and her daughter before disaster strikes and that valley is flooded, killing every host in it? We’ll have to tune in Sunday night for the Westworld season 2 finale, “The Passenger,” to find out.
