Westworld Amazon Alexa game allows you to be a host!

Westworld comes to life thanks to Alexa–do you have what it takes to be a host and stay alive long enough to reach the Maze?
Every time we watch an episode of Westworld, there’s a voice in our head wondering what if we had the opportunity to be a host in this world? Would we have what it takes to survive? Or would we be stuck in a constant loop like the hosts we’ve seen over the course of two seasons?
Well, now thanks to Alexa and the new Westworld game embedded within her systems–we can finally see what kind of host we’d be!
Westworld: The Maze is a game that allows you to go on an adventure as a host. There are three levels you must tackle before getting to the ultimate goal–the Maze. Basically, you are in control of where you go, but in order to continue, you must answer the questions correctly, or you’ll find yourself right back at the start.
There are three levels to the game: memory, improvisation, and self-interest. This game is so detailed that it includes over 60 storylines and 400 choices, and you must be a Westworld whiz to make it all the way to the end.
Andrew Hunter, the creative director of 360i, the company that helped develop the game with HBO commented on the game and what it means for fans:
"“The whole game is designed to be a reward for fans. We see over and over on social media people talking about wanting to go to Westworld. And the game is a way for them to do that from the comfort of their own living room.”"
Once you start playing the game, you quickly realize what the life of a host must be like and why their awakening to the repetitive nature of their loops has been a cause for rebellion. After personally taking a go at the game, and not making it very far, I suddenly felt the agony of having to back to the beginning–just like our dear hosts did every time.
Next: Westworld: No, it doesn’t have a humor problem
The game is filled with clues and tests your knowledge on what you know as a fan. Each correct answer takes you further into the game, and each incorrect answer inevitably leads you back to the beginning to start all over again.
The game starts off at the beginning of the story when Clementine was just a madam at the Mariposa saloon, and when the game begins you meet Rose. From there on, you get to pick where you want to go: the streets of Sweetwater, the Abernathy ranch, the Delos lab, and many more.
When you first begin the game, don’t be discouraged because the questions are tough, and the story is complicated–but once you die a few times, you really start to get the hang of it. Sounds oddly familiar, doesn’t it?
