Giveaway: Ice, Longclaw, Needle…Choose your favorite Game of Thrones sword!

Every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. CST, we stream Take the Black Live, our Game of Thrones chat show, on our Facebook page. And this upcoming Wednesday, July 11, we’re holding a giveaway! Now’s your chance to get your hand on a foam replica of one of the iconic swords from the show, courtesy of Fun.com.
We have five such swords on offer — the winner of the giveaway can choose whichever one they like. The choices include Longclaw (valued at $79.99)…
…Ice (valued at $104.99)…
…Needle (valued at $39.99)…
…Jaime Lannister’s sword (the one he used in the early seasons, not Widow’s Wail) (valued by $69.99)…
…and Oathkeeper (valued at $59.99)
To get your hands on one of these swords, here’s what you have to do:
- The new episode of Take the Black Live will start at 4:00 p.m. CST on this Wednesday, July 11. Head to our Facebook page to watch it live.
- Near the middle of the show, we’ll ask a trivia question about Game of Thrones and/or A Song of Ice and Fire. When you hear the question, email your answer to dan.selcke@winteriscoming.net.
- The first person to email me a correct answer wins! I’ll then write you back with congratulations and ask for a full name, an address, and your pick for which prize your want. If you get back to me with that stuff within 24 hours, Fun.com will ship your item of choice out to you! If you don’t, you’ll forfeit your right to a prize, and I’ll move on to the person who sent in their correct answer next-quickest, and so on until I get a usable response.
- This giveaway is only open to people in the United States. Apologies to international viewers.

Open only to entrants who are legal U.S. residents age 18 or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Limited to one entry per person.
To win the chance to choose between receiving either the Foam Longclaw ($79.99), the Foam Ice ($104.99), the Foam Needle ($39.99), the Foam Jaime Lannister’s Sword ($69.99), or the Foam Oathkeeper ($59.99), hopeful entrants must go to our Facebook page at 4:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 and watch Take the Black Live, where we will ask a trivia question during the show. Email your answers to dan.selcke@winteriscoming.net. The first person to email the correct answer to the trivia question will be eligible to choose which of the five prizes they would like to receive. Within 24 hours of WiC Live ending, we will contact the entrant who emailed their correct answer quickest by responding to the email message they sent. We will ask for that person’s full name and address and for them to choose which prize they want. Entrants must respond to our message within 24 hours. Otherwise, they will be disqualified and we’ll move on to the entrant who left their correct answer second quickest, and so on until we get a usable response.
