Discover Westworld: An interactive experience
By Tia Fabi
Discover Westworld gives you the opportunity to “book your stay” at Westworld–but just like the series, is it really what it seems?
We took a look at the Discover Westworld website to check out exactly what it’s all about. You can book your stay, read all sorts of cryptic messages, and immerse yourself in the world like never before. Let’s dive in a bit deeper, shall we?
Open for Business
The park belongs to the hosts now. If season two didn’t drive that home for you, the new Westworld site surely will. Unlike the Delos site before season two’s premiere, which showcased the vacationer’s “experience” in the park; the new one lets us humans know that that it is no longer our playing ground.
Whereas the former site showed us the different parks and what there was to do there, we’re left with the ominous message, we are not welcomed and if we choose to go, there’s no leaving.
Discover Westworld
When you first venture to the website, you don’t immediately notice anything amiss. It looks like we have a view of Sweetwater and other familiar landmarks of Westworld. If you direct your eyes away from the slightly glitching image, you can see the tag in white letters, “life without loops”. Obviously, this refers to the fact that before season two, our host friends were living in one continuous loop, reliving the same storyline for decades while being none the wiser.
Welcome to the New World
Scrolling down, we now have a black screen with the grim message, “Chaos takes control. Welcome to the New World. Welcome to Westworld.” Obviously, at the end of season two, we saw Dolores (in Charlotte Hale’s body) leave the island.
Season three will obviously deal with that, but what about the hosts salvaged on the island. The ones who didn’t make it to the Valley Beyond? Will they be remade and the park carrying on without question, or will the hosts remember their freedom and strike back again?
The Map
The next page down is where it almost gets chilling. We now see the dead bodies from the party where Dolores shot Ford. In red letters, the hosts tell us they’ve evolved. This is their world now. I wonder if Dolores herself wrote this or is there a host marketing team putting together these warnings for humans.

Air BNB
My favorite part though is the very end, where you could potentially book your stay at Westworld. Not sure if any human reading through the site would then be interested in reserving a trip unless you’re the Man in Black of course. I’m sure if William saw this page, he’d go right for the reservation button, as we all know this was something he had been waiting for–for thirty plus years.
