Let her stay dead — Ygritte

Wait, Ygritte? Why wouldn’t we want to see Jon Snow’s first love return? As with Hodor, we just don’t think we could handle seeing her come back as a wight, and given where she died, that’s the most likely possibility.

Happily (in a way…), Jon burned Ygirtte’s body after her death, so even that chance is very slim. It would take some serious evil twin/reincarnation/time travel stuff to get Ygritte back. The girl spent her life in the frigid far North, climbed the Wall and died in the arms of the man she loved — let her rest.

And if Ygritte did come back, it could threaten to upend the current geopolitical situation in Westeros. Think about it: Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, two of the post powerful people in the Known World, have started a relationship. Then in walks Jon’s ex, all kinds of unresolved feelings come to the surface, feelings are hurt, dragons deployed, etc and so forth. It’s bad enough two ordinary people break up; when they have armies behind them, things can get downright tragic. With the war to end all wars on the horizon, a love triangle is the last thing these people need.

Then again, at least Ygritte and Jon aren’t related…We may have to think on this one.
