Take the Black Podcast—Who’s gonna die in season 8? We hash it out!

Welcome to another episode of Take the Black Podcast with House Razor, the human finger in Take the Black Live with House Selcke’s meat pie. This week, we briefly discuss the Game of Thrones season 7 finale script for “The Dragon and the Wolf,” which had some colorful notes from showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss, and then we start speculating about which characters will die in the final six episodes.

Don’t forget: the Take the Black Podcast is now on iTunes, and Google Play! Please subscribe and download from there if you can. Also, you can help us out by giving us a five-star rating and leaving a friendly comment! We’re also now on Spreaker, so try us there, as well.

The rundown:

  • HBO programming president Casey Bloys had a lot to say at the Television Critics Association press tour, including a approximation of when season 8 will debut.
  • We discuss the script for “The Dragon and the Wolf.” Of course, Cory Thone is the only member of our panel who knew what The French Lieutenant’s Woman was without having to Google it.
  • We hold a…mock draft, if you will, for characters we think will bite in the final season of Game of Thrones. I would tell you who picks who, but I don’t wanna spoil it. I will say this: we, as a group, probably figured out how season 8 ends. Yes, we’re that good.

As usual, Take the Black leans heavily on the NSFW side of things, so please beware of falling F-bombs.
