16) DAARIO NAHARIS (previous Ranking: 15)

Category: Street Fighter

Last seen getting left in the friendzone by Danerys Targaryen, the Tyroshi sellsword Daario Naharis is also one heckuva fighter. The son of a prostitute, Daario was sold into slavery as a child and ended up in the Meereenese fighting pits at age 16, eventually winning so much money for his master that he was awarded his freedom. He later joined the Second Sons mercenary company and rose to the rank of lieutenant.

Along with his natural ability, Daario learned how to fight from his opponents in the pits, mastering the techniques of the Dothraki screamer, Norvoshi priest and Westerosi knight. He’s a stylistic chameleon of style with quick reflexes and excellent command over his favorite weapons: a Dothraki arakh and a Myrish stiletto. We’ve seen him in action several times, including when he easily defeated a Meereenese champion and during the Sons of the Harpy’s ambush in Daznak’s Pit in season 5’s “The Dance of Dragons.”

All in all, Daario is a valuable ally and asset, and one wonders if Daenerys made a mistake leaving him behind in Essos.
