The Netherlands: Tyrion Lannister

While Tyrion is known for his political acumen, he’s beloved as the guy who “drinks and knows things.” The man likes to relax, and the Netherlands are the perfect place for him to do it.

For one thing, this country is the largest exporter of beer in the world. Wine is  Tyrion’s drink of choice, but I’m sure he wouldn’t turn his nose up at anything that could get him good and drunk. Also, in the Netherlands, prostitution is legal and recreational drugs are tolerated. I don’t want to be indecorous, but Tyrion could work with this.

I also think the Netherlands would be a good fit for Tyrion because of its contributions to modern culture. Take, for instance, windmills, wooden shoes and bicycles. Tyrion likes to keep his finger on the pulse of the world, and the Netherlands has its finger on the pulse of Europe.

The people in the Netherlands might be among the tallest in the world, but a short man like Tyrion can still cast a large shadow. I think Tyrion would take a shining to this nation!
