By Ariba Bhuvad
Jonathan Tucker, aka Major Craddock, has just been cast in the Charlie’s Angels reboot!
Jonathan Tucker is trading in his boots and heading to the world of Charlie’s Angels. The reboot will be directed by Elizabeth Banks and already has a stellar cast on board including “Kristen Stewart, Elizabeth Banks, Naomi Scott, Luis Gerardo Méndez, as well as both Patrick Stewart and Banks playing Bosley characters”, according to Deadline.
Columbia Pictures is releasing the upcoming reboot which will tell the story of a group of kickass female detectives and is based on the 1970’s ABC series and two films released in 2000 and 2003.
It’s been quite a long time since the films were released and as a result, the Townsend Agency has grown and obtained many clients for which they provide security and intelligence services for. The film reboot will focus on one of these mentioned teams. The film’s expected release date is set to September 27th, 2019 with Banks writing and directing the venture.
Jonathan Tucker was last seen in a studio film back in 2010 in Next Three Days. Of course, we know him as the relentless Major Craddock on Westworld. Seriously, he’s a hard one to miss!
Most recently, Tucker was in the second season of FX’s Snowfall and is set to be a series regular on Showtime’s City on a Hill alongside Kevin Bacon, and executive produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon.
We are excited to see Tucker take on a part in an iconic franchise and look forward to learning more about his character and the role he will play in the upcoming reboot!
