Missing Bernard? Well, we have a solution for you. Check out Jeffrey Wright’s Netflix thriller, Hold The Dark this weekend!

Hold The Dark is officially streaming on Netflix, and if you’re having the Bernard blues, then this is precisely what you should be watching this weekend. Jeffrey Wright plays a character by the name of Russell Core who is a wolf researcher. Already interested, aren’t you?

Hold The Dark is made by Jeremy Saulnier of Green Room and is adapted from the 2014 novel by William Giraldi. Wright’s character is asked to come to the Alaskan village of Keelut to help with the disappearance of a young boy.

She is convinced that wolves took the boy and wants him to kill the one responsible so she can let her husband, Vernon (Alexander Skarsgard) know what is going on, who is away fighting in Fallujah. Comments from critics joke about this being another reality in which Bernard has been placed, which sounds pretty darn amazing to us.

As the story progresses, it appears something sinister may be in play, or perhaps nothing evil at all. But to find out more, you will have to head to Netflix to catch Bernard er, Jeffrey Wright on Hold The Dark to learn the mystery of what exactly is going on.

We are excited to see Wright take on a different role in this Netflix thriller and while we still have a long wait ahead of us before we see him as Bernard again, we can find some comfort in fooling ourselves to think of this movie as another reality. Hey, it works for now, doesn’t it?

Hold The Dark is now streaming on Netflix! Be sure to check it out this weekend!
