Littlefinger faked his own death
Now wouldn’t this be a shocker?
In Game of Thrones season 7, Littlefinger finally died after Arya executed him on Sansa’s order. But was that really Littlefinger? According to one theory, no. At least one fan — the proprietor of Neo’s Channel on YouTube — thinks that Littlefinger, sensing his impeding doom like a Westerosi Spider-Man, had already left Winterfell behind. In his place: a Faceless Man. Roll the tape!
Littlefinger IS a survivor, and the video does a good job of connecting him back to the Faceless Men of Braavos, who can wear the faces of anyone, living or dead. Other than Arya, Jaqen H’ghar and the Waif, Littlefinger may be the character who discusses the Faceless Men the most over the course of the series.
If Littlefinger did leave Winterfell, he may have run back to Cersei with intel on the North. But also…no, there’s no way this is coming to pass. It’s fun to think about, though.
