Kit Harington hasn’t even told Rose Leslie (Ygritte) how Game of Thrones ends

You’d think being married to one of Game of Thrones’ biggest stars would give you inside knowledge of how the show will end next year, but that’s not the case for Rose Leslie (Ygritte), who married Kit Harington (Jon Snow) back in June. “I chose not to tell [Rose],” Harington told Esquire. “It’s quite exciting walking around knowing no one knows. For this I was like I’m not telling anyone. I don’t think she’s guessed it right yet.”

In contrast, showrunner David Benioff took a different route and spilled all the finale’s secrets to his wife, Amanda Peet. Maybe Leslie should give Peet a call (and then call us)?

Harington also talked about the show more generally, confirming very plainly that he doesn’t plan to appear in any of HBO’s upcoming prequel series:

"I have no desire to go back and do any more of that show… I have such a fond place I my heart for that show. For a good month afterwards I just burst into tears randomly. I can’t think of a better job to have in your 20s then to play Jon Snow."

As for Harington’s post-Game of Thrones future, the King in the North also addressed rumors of a potential turn as Batman. Reportedly, Warner Bros. requested digital mockups of Harington in the costume. “It would be awesome to play Batman,” Harington said. “I love the director who’s doing the next ones as well.” That director would be Matt Reeves, best known for directing Cloverfield and the most recent two Planet of the Apes moviesWith Ben Affleck stepping away from the role, the Batman role is up for grabs, and black has always been Harington’s color.
