Game of Thrones Adidas are coming—Check out the House Targaryen sneakers

Get ready, Game of Thrones fans: sneakers are coming. Earlier this year, we reported that HBO and Adidas were teaming up to launch a limited edition line of Game of Thrones-themed kicks. Now, the dream has happened. Behold the first shoe in the line, dedicated to House Targaryen, courtesy of Instagrammer @yankeekicks. Be sure to cycle through to see more images!

Like any good work of art, the devil is in the details, and these sneakers nail the details right down to the House Targaryen label on the shoelaces — really, look at that last image in the set. Modifying Adidas’ UltraBoost running shoes, these beauties capture the essence of House Targaryen’s fiery history. From the “Fire and Blood” tag on the heels to the flames on the toes, we could easily see Daenerys taking her morning jog in these.

The final product is slightly different from the original concept art posted by sneaker head YEEZY MAFIA back in July:

Still, it’s close enough, and we hope some of the other mock-ups eventually become reality, including this one inspired by the Night’s Watch:

Other editions, including a White Walker and Daenerys cream variation are also rumored to be on the way, although no official release date has been set. Looks like the Iron Bank is gonna need to up my credit limit.
