Tessa Thompson wraps filming for Men in Black spinoff

Who else is excited to see Tessa Thompson in the Men in Black spinoff?

Tessa Thompson has wrapped filming for the Men in Black spinoff! A couple weeks after her co-star Chris Hemsworth finished his scenes, Thompson is now all done with hers–and we can’t wait to see it all come together.

Directed by the Fate of the Furious‘ F. Gary Gray, the Men in Black spinoff will follow two MIB agents played by Thompson and Hemsworth. While the story is not a sequel to the previous installments, it is being referred to as a spinoff.

This means that the story exists in the same universe as the movies with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones–so cameos are never out of the realm of possibilities (at least, that’s what we’re hoping for!) And the fact that Emma Thompson will return in the spinoff as Agent O, you never know!

Tessa Thompson took to Instagram to announce the end of production for her with a picture of her and Hemsworth goofing around in their MIB attire (and they look good!). Take a look at the post below!

There is a lot to look forward to when Charlotte Hale of Westworld trades in her conniving, scheming mind for the life of a MIB agent. Even more exciting? While the original installments stayed within the confines of New York City, the spinoff spans across London, Morocco, Italy, as well as New York.

This is not the first time Thompson and Hemsworth have been co-stars as they both shared the screen in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok (and kicked ass at it!). Not many details have been released about the plot, characters, and storyline for the Men in Black spinoff. but rest assured Tessa Thompson will shine as she always does.
