Evan Rachel Wood of Westworld is making a tour stop in her hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina!

Evan Rachel Wood has been quite busy on her EVAN+ZANE tour and the next stop is one that is near and dear to her heart–Raleigh, North Carolina. Alongside Zane Carney, she will be performing at Raleigh’s Theatre in the Park. Even more special about this particular theatre? Her father, Ira David Wood III, who is also an actor, is an executive director there.

The concert will be a benefit for Theatre in the Park and theme of the show is “Jealousy”. In an interview with The News & Observer both Evan Rachel Wood and Carney spoke up about the upcoming show and what fans can expect from it.

When asked what type of show it will be, both Wood and Carney stated that it’s so much a musical concert but more focused on the performance and making it a musical event celebrating music across decades and generations.

Theatre in the Park is where Evan Rachel Wood first learned to sing, so returning to do a show there is something she is both excited and nostalgic about. All those in attendance are surely in for a treat, and we can’t wait to hear about how it goes!

The past year has been an interesting and eye-opening one for Wood, as she stated during the interview. Since the #MeToo movement picked up, as an activist Wood has been a big part of it and even testified in Congress regarding sexual abuse she has endured.
