There’s a lot to be thankful for this year, Westworld fans–including Jimmi Simpson and his birthday!

Westworld fans, please flock to Twitter to surround Mr. Jimmi Simpson with all the love and adoration you can because guess what? It’s his 43rd birthday! And with Thanksgiving just a day away, there is a lot to be thankful for, including his amazing performance as young William in Westworld.

Of course, Westworld is one of Simpson’s many accomplishments over the years, and in a short amount of time, he has gone from that one funny guy to an Emmy-nominated actor. His accomplishments speak for themselves, and it’s safe to say fans of the show adore everything about what he brings to his character.

Born in Hackettstown, New Jersey, Simpson is the youngest of three brothers and grew up performing in theatre specifically at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts over four seasons. Apart from his role as William on Westworld, Simpson has been extremely busy these last few years, and it is absolutely no surprise for those of us that adore him.

Most recently, Simpson was in USA’s Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G as Detective Russell Poole and was in the critically-acclaimed Black Mirror episode, “U.S.S. McCallister” last year. His most notable roles include House of CardsPsych, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia just to name a few badass things he’s done over the course of his career.

Coming up, he will be starring in Epix’s noir drama series, Our Lady, LTD alongside the Ben Kingsley. Seriously, how cool is Jimmi Simpson’s life? Can we be his friend?

In the two seasons of Westworld, we have come to love and appreciate Simpson more than ever and admire his portrayal of an emotionally conflicted character just beginning a very long journey. It’s the understatement of the year to say the show wouldn’t be the same without him, and we look forward to seeing what season 3 brings!

Happy birthday Jimmi Simpson! Wishing you an amazing year ahead–because you deserve it!
