Westworld: Evan Rachel Wood reacts to Back to the Future reboot rumors

Evan Rachel Wood of Westworld has a hilarious reaction to the idea of a Back to the Future reboot!

Westworld is a cultural phenomenon that will be a part of our lives long after it ends. Not many shows and movies have this sort of impact on fandom, and prior Westworld, there were many that still continue to be a big part of our lives today. Case in point, the 1980’s iconic time-traveling franchise, Back to the Future.

The Hollywood Reporter posted a poll to Twitter asking fans what movies they’d like to see rebooted, and as expected, Back to the Future made the top of the list. Naturally, the idea of such a reboot sounds absolutely exciting. However, in a day and age where reboots often fail and take away from the appeal of the original, many people aren’t too enthusiastic about it returning in any capacity.

Evan Rachel Wood of our beloved Westworld is amongst those that absolutely do not want to see the franchise rebooted, and she did not hesitate to take to Twitter to share her feelings. In fact, her reaction is absolutely hilarious and quite representative of how many of us feel.

If you haven’t seen Back to the Future it may be hard to relate to why Wood is reacting this way. However, if you’re a fan of Westworld and years from now someone suggested bringing it back–you may not be so happy either. Sometimes classics are better left in the past, and it’s precisely why Wood feels so strongly.
