Jimmi Simpson gives his input about some of the most insane Westworld fan theories!

Westworld thrives on all the theories it generates amongst its fandom. And over the course of two seasons, fans have come up with some insane ones, many of which end up being true. Jimmi Simpson, who plays young William, went to Elle back in May to talk about which ones he believes are true, and those that aren’t.

Simpson does a pretty decent job of appearing indifferent to some of the theories he reads, leaving us to wonder which of them just might be true. To be fair, Westworld showrunners also keep the cast in the dark about the show’s biggest plot twists.

One of the first Westworld theories Simpson reads states that the host of Peter Abernathy has James Delos’ consciousness inside of it, and William is behind it. Simpson didn’t have much to say to this besides Abernathy being a big part of the series and that it would be mindblowing.

One Westworld theory that Simpson does not agree with is the one that says Delos is collecting data from its visitors to eventually achieve immortality. He does like the idea of it and thinks one of the writers should consider it for the script.

Anything Simpson responded with or gave an answer to is in no way a confirmation or denial of what’s to come in season 3. He does such a good job keeping a straight face that it would be impossible to really glean anything off his comments.

Season 3 is still a mystery and it looks like we still have quite a wait ahead of us–at least until 2020. Sigh, at least we can binge-watch the entire series again, right?
