What makes Westworld such a special series? We got the answers for you right here!

Westworld is a once-in-a-lifetime type of series, the type of show that will live on long after it comes to an end. It’s a tough feat to accomplish given the types of successful shows that already exist in the same genre as it–including Black MirrorOver the course of two seasons, Westworld has proved that it is groundbreaking, riveting, and unlike anything, we’ve ever seen before.

So what exactly makes it so great? Well, for the Lost fans out there, do you remember how addicted you were to the story and how you would spend hours theorizing what was going to happen? Well, Westworld brings that intrigue and excitement back into our lives.

Honestly, the fandom is next level and may even surpass that of Lost because of the Reddit community and additional forums that allow for fans to come together. Being a fan of this show is amazing, fun, and thought-provoking, and gives us the ability to love a show like we never have before.

Another aspect of it that makes the series so special is the fact that it is likely to be around for a while. Besides of Game of Thrones, it may be HBO’s only other show that has this level of potential. As of 2019, HBO will bid farewell to Veep and Game of Thrones, leaving Westworld to take over most of the viewership that comes in. We have a feeling the series won’t struggle too much–right?

Not only does Westworld have an intriguing storyline, but have you taken a moment to appreciate the insane production? The series is a cinematic feast for the eyes between the gorgeous landscape of mountains nestled in the lands of Utah and the vast, giant sets they have built to bring life to this world. Millions of dollars are spent to make Westworld what it is, and it’s clear with each and every episode.

Apart from the obvious, the series also poses many questions that make us think about humanity, life, and the limits to which a human being can be pushed. Not many shows can pull this off, but we are left deep in thought after every single episode. It’s a testament to how amazing Westworld is and how it will continue to push the boundaries of narratives in television.
