Take the Black Live: Two weeks of Game of Thrones news, exploded

After two weeks off, it’s finally time for a new episode of Take the Black Live, the best Game of Thrones chat show on the internet, according to the people who make it. This week, Cheryl Wassenaar hit two weeks worth of announcements. Take it in above.
Some of our talking points include:
- We know the premiere date for Game of Thrones season 8…almost. In any case, HBO has begun the marketing rollout for the final season of the show and we’re here to scrutinize it.
- Kit Harington has cut his Jon Snow hair. It’s really over. Let us mourn.
- What do we think of Fire & Blood, the new book from George R.R. Martin? What do the critics think?
- Finally, Aquaman is on the way, and it looks weirder than advertised. Will this movie, which stars Thrones alum Jason Momoa in the lead role, revive the flagging fortunes of the DC Cinematic Universe, or are we looking at another Justice League-style disappointment?
And thanks to HBO for sending us that bottle of the King in the North Imperial stout! That was good drinking. So says one of us.
