Anyway, this week I have my complaining hat affixed firmly to my head. Our topics include:
- HBO went to the trouble of inviting Conan O’Brien out to host a very special Game of Thrones reunion show with cast members past and present, shot as filming on the series finale was winding down…and then it’s cloistered it away on what will doubtlessly be an expensive series boxset. What gives, HBO? I thought you were cool.
- Marketing for Game of Thrones season 8 is busting out all over, and we love it.
- There’s been a lot of talk lately about what kind of Game of Thrones spinoff HBO should be making. George R.R. Martin suggests one I hadn’t heard before, and at least one of us likes it.
- In news that isn’t related to Game of Thrones, what is with Netflix cancelling all its Marvel superhero shows lately? Iron Fist, sure, but Daredevil? What gives, Netflix? I thought your were cool.
