The third season of Stranger Things drops next year, and Netflix is getting the word out. They announced a Stranger Things video game at last week’s Game Awards, and now, Netflix has put out a tiny teaser trailer revealing the names of each of the third season’s eight episodes:
Alright, so what do these titles tell us?
- “Suzie, Do You Copy” — We haven’t met anyone named Suzie on the show. Perhaps Suzie is a codename for Eleven?
- “The Mall Rats” — The Starcourt Mall will be a prominent location in Stranger Things season 3. It sounds like this episode will be its big showcase. This teaser should tell you everything you need to know:
- “The Case of the Missing Lifeguard” — Francesca Reale is playing a lifeguard at the Hawkins Community Pool. It sounds like she’ll go missing. She’s the Barb of season 3.
- “The Sauna Test” — Remember in season 1 when Eleven needed to be in a sensory deprivation tank to make full use of her abilities? This could be something like that.
- “The Source” — This one is pretty vague. It sounds like a mythology-focused episode to me.
- “The Birthday” — Again, it’s hard to guess what this means. There are lots of characters on Stranger Things, and all of them have birthdays.
- “The Bite” — In season 2, Will was infected by the Mind Flayer, a creature from the Upside Down. Might another such monster bite and infect someone from Hawkins?
- “The Battle of Starcourt” — It looks like our climax will go down at the Starcourt Mall.
Stranger Things season 3 kicks off next summer. It’s set during the summer of 1985. What do everyone else think of the titles?
