Giveaway: Game of Thrones holiday stocking and enamel pins

Every Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. CST, myself and Cheryl Wassenaar of Culturess take to the WinterIsComing Facebook page for Take the Black Live, a chat show about all things Game of Thrones, A Song of Ice and Fire, fantasy fiction and beyond. This week, we’re giving away a fluffy white holiday stocking from HBO and a pair of Game of Thrones enamel pins: a Stark pin and a Targaryen one.
Fluffy! Here’s how to enter and win our giveaway, step by step:
- The new episode of Take the Black Live will start at 4:00 p.m. CST this Wednesday, December 19. Head to our Facebook page to watch it live.
- Near the middle of the show, we’ll ask a trivia question about Game of Thrones and/or A Song of Ice and Fire. When you hear the question, email your answer to dan.selcke@winteriscoming.net.
- The first person to email me a correct answer wins! I’ll then write you back with congratulations and ask for a full name and an address. If you get back to me with that stuff within 24 hours, we’ll ship the Game of Thrones stocking out to you! If you don’t, you’ll forfeit your right to a prize, and I’ll move on to the person who sent in their correct answer next-quickest, and so on until I get a usable response.
This giveaway is only open to people in the United States. Apologies to international viewers.

To win the HBO holiday stocking — valued at $9.08 — and the Game of Thrones enamel pins — valued at $5.96 — hopeful entrants must go to our Facebook page at 4:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 and watch Take the Black Live, where we will ask a trivia question during the show. Email your answers to dan.selcke@winteriscoming.net. The first person to email the correct answer to the trivia question will be eligible to receive the prizes. Within 24 hours of Take the Black Live ending, we will contact the entrant who emailed their correct answer quickest by responding to the email message they sent. We will ask for that person’s full name and address. Entrants must respond to our message within 24 hours, at which point we will send the prizes to them. Otherwise, they will be disqualified and we will move on to the entrant who left their correct answer second quickest, and so on until we get a usable response.
