7. Batman actually appears on screen

I never thought I’d live to see the day, but Batman actually appeared onscreen in Titans, even though all we got were a couple of silhouette shots and a view from the back. This is a big deal because several of the DC TV shows have referenced Batman, but we’ve yet to actually see him. The closest we got is the appearance of Batwoman in DC’s Elseworlds crossover event. Hopefully, we’ll get something more concrete going forward. It would be weird to have a show with two Robins and no Batman.

The Titans season 1 finale ended on a cliffhanger. This episode was originally supposed to be the penultimate episode of the season, but for reasons unknown, the planned last episode was cut.

Hopefully, season 2 live up to the hype that season 1 has created. Personally, I’m hoping for more of Starfire’s story, because there is so much more to explore about her alien lineage. There have also been reports that Dick Grayson could become Nightwing, but it’s too early to be sure. Given the way season 1 concluded, it’s also possible we could see Superboy and Krypto.

Luckily, the show is already renewed for the second season and will reportedly begin filming in February.
