Jon Snow will return to King’s Landing

At the end of season 7, Jon Snow was headed home to Winterfell. He won’t stay there. For the first time in the history of the series, star Kit Harington was filmed shooting something in Dubrovnik, meaning that the King in the North is headed back to King’s Landing at some point in season 8:

"Lit Harrington as Aejon from freefolk"

Ah, it’s good to see the Jon Snow curls in full effect.

Above, Harington is at Dubrovnik’s Minčeta Tower, which is part of the city walls. It was built in 1463 and looks like a perfect fit for the architecture of King’s Landing.

There’s also this mysterious shot, of Jon Snow being escorted along the walls by a couple of men in black:

"Jon/Aegon with strange men in black. Wtf? from freefolk"

Are those Night’s Watchmen? Perhaps a few survive the Night King’s assault on the Wall? Or maybe they’re just Northern soldiers who aren’t feeling festive that day.

In any case, Harington wasn’t the only major cast member spotted filming in Dubrovnik…
