Five ways Thanos’ snap could be undone in Avengers: Endgame

5. Loki Odinson, a.k.a God of Mischief

This is one of the more far-fetched theories, but still possible. We know Loki died at the start of Infinity War, neck crushed by Thanos. But did he die? He’s pulled stunts like that before, so maybe he’s playing everyone. He’s one of only two people Thanos killed with his bare hands, as opposed to snapping into space dust.

So let’s assume Loki is still alive. How could he help reverse what Thanos did? There are many possibilities, but the likeliest — in my opinion — is that Loki might know something about Thanos’ weaknesses he could share with the group. After all, he was Thanos’ “employee” during the first Avengers movie, and he’s always scuttling information away so he can use it later to screw people over.

Who knows? Maybe the Grandmaster could get involved in all this. In the comics, the Grandmaster and the Collector — whom Thanos killed in Infinity War — are part of a supervillain group knows as The Elders of the Universe. The comics being as detailed as they are, there’s no shortage of ways our heroes could come back from this. These are just a few of the many theories making the rounds on internet. Some of them overreach, sure, but for those of us who want to see our favorite heroes come back and live happily ever after, they’ll do.

And they’re all we have until Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26. In all likelihood, Captain Marvel and its post-credit scene will probably suggest more theories, so this may only be the beginning.
