Season 4

The season 4 trailer was a bit of a mind f**k because it starts out with the shadow of a dragon flying over King’s Landing. I can remember wondering if there was going to be some sort of huge flashback, or if Dany was somehow going straight to King’s Landing and attacking. Alas, none of that happened.

Great Lines:

  • Jaime: “The war’s not won.”
  • Daenerys: “They have a choice. They can live my new world or die in their old one.”
  • Littlefinger: “Given the opportunity, what do we do to those who’ve hurt the ones we love?”
  • Oberyn Martell: “Tell your father I’m here, and tell him the Lannisters aren’t the only ones who pay their debts.”
  • Tyrion: “If you want justice, you’ve come to the wrong place.”

Great Scenes:

  • Dragon shadow flying across King’s Landing.
  • The Champion of Meereen charging Daario.
  • Slaves attacking their masters.
  • Tyrion in chains being brought to trial.
  • Bran touching the weirwood tree.
  • Oberyn Martell walking into the brothel waving his hand over a candle’s flame.
  • The wildlings charging Castle Black.
