Let’s rank the Game of Thrones trailers from worst to first
Season 7
This is the latest addition to the growing list of Game of Thrones trailers, but that doesn’t make it the best. There’s still some great stuff in there, though. Season 7 represented a new era for the series, and although we all had our guesses, it wasn’t clear who was going to be sitting the Iron Throne by the end of the season.
Great Lines:
- Cersei: “Enemies to the east. Enemies to the west. Enemies to the south. Enemies to the north. Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat it.”
- Daenerys: “I was born to rule the Seven Kingdoms, and I will.”
- Davos: “If we don’t put aside our enmities and band together, we will die. And then it doesn’t matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne.”
Great Scenes:
- Euron Greyjoy’s ship, the Silence.
- The Lannister army on the march.
- Cersei sitting on the Iron Throne like the boss that she is.
- Dragons flying up past the cliff above Dragonstone as Tyrion watches.
- Daenerys watching as the gates to Dragonstone open.
- The Unsullied attack Casterly Rock.
- Theon watching as fire rains down on his ship.
- The Dothraki standing up in their saddles, and that one duel-wielding his weapons like he’s playing polo with the heads of Lannister soldiers.
- Daenerys on Drogon, flying over the Dothraki horde.
