FLEA BOTTOM BROWN FIVE: We love the dragons too, but c’mon.

The dragons are great. Absolutely. And a trailer has little time to cover a lot of territory, especially on a show as narratively complicated and geographically sprawling as this one. But Thrones has always underplayed its fantasy elements, always strived to put its human stories first. After the long break between seasons, we could have used a few less dragon shots and a few more moments to reconnect with the characters as they face the direst of straits. We do understand how subjective that sentiment is, however. And if a dragon gets killed we’re gonna freak out.
