Game of Thrones isn’t the only one putting out new trailers recently. There’s a bunch of interesting ones making the rounds, including one for FOX Searchlight’s biopic about Lord of the Rings author J.R.R. Tolkien, starring Nicholas Hoult as Tolkien and Lily Collins as his wife Edith Bratt, the inspiration for characters like  Lúthien Tinúviel and Arwen Evenstar.

They really teased out someone saying “fellowship,” didn’t they? Just say it! Anyway, Tolkien will open in theaters in the U.S. on May 10.

On the TV side of things, Amazon has released another, fuller trailer for Good Omens, its six-part adaptation of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s 1990 comic epic about an angel and a demon who team up to prevent the apocalypse. Gaiman supervised the production of this one himself. It looks fun and flighty and pretty British:

Good Omens will be available to stream on Amazon starting May 31.

Finally, Disney has put out a new clip from Captain Marvel, the next entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It stars Brie Larson as the titular hero and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, but if the clock was turned back 25 years. You think this’ll be weird for Jackson to watch?

He threw the gun! Always a good move.

Before we sign off, you know that Captain Marvel is set in the ’90s, right? Well, the talented folks at What’s the Mashup? have made a trailer for the Avengers universe reimagining what it would be like if it were actually made in the ’90s. It’s really good and you should watch it:

Spot on casting everywhere.
