A much-needed Game of Thrones refresher ahead of season 8

Sandor “the Hound” Clegane
In season 7, Sandor Celgane, aka the Hound, is among the men who travel north of the Wall in pursuit of a wight. Following the epic tussle that brought down a dragon, the Hound joins Jon Snow and company on their journey back to King’s Landing, where he hadn’t been since the Battle of the Blackwater since season 2. He also reunites with Brienne of Tarth, whom he hadn’t seen since she knocked him off a cliff in season 4. The Hound is confronting a lot of bad memories lately, but with his new outlook, he seems to be at peace with most of them. He and Brienne even bond a little over how much of a badass Arya Stark has become now.
Less pleasant is his reunion with his brother, Gregor Clegane, aka the Mountain. At the Dragonpit, the Hound can’t help but get in the Mountain’s face and start spewing “you’re ugly AF”-like comments.
Over the last couple seasons, the Hound has gotten in touch with the better side of his nature, learned to see visions in the fires, and seems to have found meaning in Beric Dondarrion’s mission to save the world from the Long Night. But he’s no angel, and even though he’s probably headed north to Winterfell with the rest of the honorable living, we expect him to resolve his long-boiling grudge against his brother one way or another.
They’re gonna fight, is what we’re saying. Cleganebowl! We’re also looking forward to the Hound reuniting with his abductee/pupil Arya. He should have an interesting season ahead of him.
