A much-needed Game of Thrones refresher ahead of season 8

After rescuing Jamie from Drogon’s fiery breathe in “The Spoils of War” and helping the wayward Lannister brothers reunite in “Eastwatch,” Bronn showed up outside the Dragonpit during the big summit meeting in the season 7 finale. On the way, Bronn spoke with Tyrion about the possibility of switching sides. He didn’t give a final word on the subject, but we wouldn’t be shocked if Bronn abandoned the Lannister cause and joined up with the Mother of Dragons if he thought he could get something out of it, like a castle.

In fact, he really doesn’t have much choice now. Tyrion is traveling with Dany up to Winterfell to fight the army of the dead, and Jaime has abandoned Cersei to join him. If Bronn is going to get paid, it’s one of the two Lannister brothers who will do it, so odds are he’s going to follow them north. Those Lannisters are supposed to be good at paying their debts, aren’t they?
