We’ve been getting new information about the third season of Netflix’s Stranger Things in dribs and drabs. We know it will drop on July 4, which is very patriotic of it, and we know all the episode titles. But thus far, we haven’t gotten any actual footage.

And we still may not have that. But Netflix is at least signaling that a proper trailer is coming soon. Earlier today, the Stranger Things Twitter account released this little snippet, of a bunch of rats running into an abandoned factory. The subtitle: “It’s almost feeding time.” Run, rats, run!
Considering the kind of otherworldly beasties known to plague the sleepy town of Hawkins, IN, I don’t want to think about what could be after those rats, or where it will turn for an after-dinner snack. You know, for seven seconds of footage, that’s actually fairly unnerving.
And it’s just the start. Showrunner Shawn Levy hinted that there’s more coming:
I’m going to assume he means that a full trailer is on the way. And then Netflix US just tweeted this:
Ugh. I guess rats just make me uncomfortable.
