Watch the trailer for Urban Decay’s Game of Thrones makeup line

You can’t make this up. Earlier this year, HBO and Urban Decay announced that a Game of Thrones makeup line was in development. Details were scarce, but now the company has released a trailer of sorts ahead of the line dropping on April 14, the same day as the season 8 premiere airs. Izembaro approves!

First of all, clearly the Needle and Longclaw brushes are the best part of this collection. Who doesn’t want to use a sword brush to apply makeup? The lineup also includes a full suite of pencils and lipsticks, all inspired by your favorite houses.

Speaking of lipstick, Cersei’s favorite shade, the Long Farewell, is excluded, which is both a missed opportunity and a really good call.

The line is part of HBO’s #ForTheThrone season 8 marketing campaign, with has included everything from Oreos to Blood Drives to worldwide scavenger hunts for Iron Thrones. That hype machine is buzzing! But for those who want to mimic the mugs of iconic characters like Daenerys and Cersei and Sansa, this is the merch for you, particularly if you can’t afford the clothing line, and let’s face it, a lot of us can’t.
