I’ll be honest: I jumped on the Game of Thrones train a little late. I finally saw my first episode after the first two seasons had already aired, but I was absolutely hooked when I saw the premiere. It was dark and sexy, full of murder and betrayal, and I just loved it. A lot has changed since those days, and I’ve always been here for it. Before the premiere of the eighth and final season on April 14, I received a Game of Thrones merch box from CultureFly, and it’s a fan’s dream come true. Watch the unboxing below, and then read on for pictures, info and how to get one for yourself!

The CultureFly Game of Thrones box is a quarterly box dedicated to the show. This particular box is the very first one that was released. We’ll open another one next week, but the theme of this box is the Houses of Westeros.

The first item out of the box is a silicone glove modeled to look like Jaime Lannister’s golden hand. Now you, too, can look like your sword hand was hacked off by Bolton soldiers! The silicone is thick and the palm of the glove is ridged for better gripping ability.

The next item is representing for House Targaryen. True to their fiery reputation, it’s all about heat. This reusable hand warmer has the Targaryen house seal and will come in handy when winter comes again.

The next item is a gray shirt featuring the house sigils of Houses Stark, Lannister, Targaryen and Greyjoy. It is VERY soft and the fit is great. I look forward to wearing it during the premiere! Then we have an oversized yellow banner pin for House Greyjoy, complete with their House words, “We do not sow.” This pin is huge with a triple prong on the back and rubber backers.

The next item is a House Baratheon drinking horn, complete with stand. The next time you want a some wine, ale or mead, a regular glass just won’t cut it anymore. I may never drink out of anything else.

Moving along, we have a pad of sticky House Stark notes and a full stamp set featuring iconography from the houses of Stark, Baratheon, Greyjoy, Lannister and Targaryen. I cannot wait to stamp literally everything I own.

Since it’s now springtime, it’s time to do some gardening. Enter a planter pot emblazoned with the sigil of House Tyrell. The pot is small but would be perfect for herbs or small onions!

The last item in the box is a statue of Jon Snow’s direwolf, Ghost. As one of only two direwolves still left, may this statue serve as a reminder that sometimes the runt lasts the longest.

That’s it for the Houses of Westeros CultureFly Game of Thrones box! The box is $49.99, and while you may think that’s a bit much for a subscription box, look at how much you get. The quality of the items is great, and there’s a lot of it.
