We’re so close to the Game of Thrones season 8 premiere we can almost taste it. It’s been so long since the season 7 finale that we hang on every word from the cast and crew. On Monday night, Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Fallon asked her if she could give him a “crumb” about season 8. The SPOILER slips out around the 1:45 mark, so if you wish to remain Unsullied for season 8, then turn back now. Okay, here we go…

APRIL FOOLS!

Okay, so Williams totally sold that prank, and really had me believing it for a hot second. “During shooting the final days were really emotional towards the cast because when I found out that Arya dies in the second episode I was…”

Fallon tells her they can edit it out because the show isn’t live and they start the segment again, but Williams seems shook, and runs off stage. Fallon seems lost for a second as the camera zooms in on his face, then he goes to find her. When he pulls back the curtain Williams and Fallon yell “April Fools!”

Well played. We know Arya at least makes it to Episode 3, where there’s a massive battle at Winterfell, and since we’ve heard a lot about Maisie Williams being on the set a very long time, she probably gets farther than that.

So no spoilers here folks; just a fun April Fools prank. Oh well, we return to hanging on every word anyone associated with the show has to say.
