WiC Exclusive—Check out new artwork from Game of Thrones: The Storyboards
A few weeks ago we told you about a new partnership between Insight Editions and HBO to publish four new Game of Thrones-inspired books that would be heading our way this year. The first of those four — Game of Thrones: The Storyboards — is set to be released this May, and features “a unique behind-the-scenes look into pivotal moments and early conceptual art from Game of Thrones.”
Insight Editions has given WiCnet an exclusive first look at one of the storyboards in the book. Click to blow the pictures up!
This storyboard is from episode 104, “Cripples, Bastards, and Broken Things,” and shows Bran’s Three-Eyed Raven dream, as well as Jon Snow and Samwell Tarly bonding for the first time. “You can’t fight. You can’t see. You’re afraid of heights and almost everything else, probably. What are you doing here, Sam?” Seven seasons later, and Sam has slain a White Walker, found the love of a woman, and holds proof of Jon’s real parentage. I’d say it’s a darn good thing he stuck around.

I’ve got to say, I can’t wait to get my hands on the Storyboards book, as well as the Photography book. I feel like they will really give some behind the scenes insight into the worldwide phenomenon that is Game of Thrones.
