4. Lyanna Mormont and Daenerys Targaryen
Lyanna Mormont is one of the best characters to be introduced in the show’s later seasons. She may be a kid, but she’s sassy, powerful and smart. If not for her shaming the other Northern lords into action, Jon Snow might not be King in the North. Put all this together and Lyanna Mormont is a true fan favorite.
Now that Jon has bent the knee to Daenerys, it will be interesting to see how Lyanna and Dany interact, given that neither Lyanna nor the rest of the Northern lords are particularly fond of Targaryens. ‘The North Remembers,’ the saying goes, and these lords remember when Dany’s father killed many of their countrymen.
I could see Lyanna and Daenerys sharing a tense scene where the Lady of Bear Island takes a stand against the Mother of Dragons. I can also see a lighter, funnier scene where Dany is surprised at the power of of young noblewoman. Personally, I think there will be some friction in the beginning, but eventually these two will warm up to each other.
