Game of Thones: What kind of ending will Game of Thrones give us?

The Dinosaurs ending

I don’t know if there will ever be an ending more out-of-left-field depressing than Dinosaurs.

ABC’s comedy was about anthropomorphic dinosaurs living lives like humans do today; getting married, having kids, going to work, hating their in-laws, watching TV, etc. How did this show you probably didn’t watch end? The same way it did in real life! With the end of the dinosaurs in a dark, frozen ice age, which was caused by mankind’s …err….dinokind’s expansion and greed. The finale was a warning to humans about global warming and choosing profit over everything else. We’ve clearly taken it to heart because everything is super awesome now!

What show do you think the Game of Thrones finale will be similar to? Maybe a St. Elsewhere ending where this is all happening inside of a snow globe? Or maybe the White Walkers and Children of the Forest were humans mutated by nuclear fallout, and Westeros is just a heavily altered future Earth post-global warming and extinction-level nuclear war?
