Game of Thrones fans, are you ready for the season 8 premiere this weekend? I know I am. But while we count down the hours, let’s take a moment to appreciate what the cast is doing with their post-GoT lives.

According to a Deadline, Iain Glen, aka Ser Jorah Mormont will be taking on a new role, one that you may have never seen coming: Bruce Wayne. That’s right, our dear Jorah is going to be Batman…well, sort of, depending on when the next season of the DC Universe show Titans is set. It’s also possible he’ll play an older, retired version of the character. But hey, it doesn’t change the fact that Jorah is Batman. And he’ll be back on our screens fairly quickly following the end of Game of Thrones. Everybody wins!
Speaking of Game of Thrones alumni playing superheroes, are you ready to see Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) take the lead in the next X-Men movie? Check out the new trailer for Dark Phoenix below, and see our girl Sophie do her evil thing while I wipe away proud tears of joy.
Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (Gregor “the Mountain” Clegane) is literally the Strongest Man in the World — like, he holds the title. We have no idea what kinds of badass things he’ll do in the final season of Game of Thrones, but you can catch him in an upcoming ESPN documentary chronicling his journey to become the strongest athlete ever. It’s called Strongman: Beyond the Mountain. Here’s a preview:
Could we get a copy of Björnsson’s workout and his diet regimen?

And finally, if you didn’t get enough glamour from the Game of Thrones stars when they stepped out for the red carpet premiere of season 8 last week in New York City, they’re making the rounds again at the European premiere in Belfast. Check them out, starting with Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy), who was absent from the New York premiere and making up for lost time:
Another face missing from New York: Ben Crompton, who plays Dolorous Edd, who so far as we know is the current Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch.
Jerome Flynn (Bronn), looking dapper:
Hannah Murray (Gilly) is looking regal in deep blue:
And where there’s Gilly, there’s Sam…er, John Bradley:
Kerry Ingram (Shireen Baratheon) looking fantastic for someone burned at the stake:
Joe Dempsie (Gendry), keeping it (comparatively) casual:
Carice Van Houten (Melisandre) makes a statement in black. This is probably my favorite outfit so far:
Van Houten wore all white in New York, so I can’t help but think this is on purpose. I love color coordination across continents:
Like Van Houten, Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth) is also all in black. I like to think they coordinated:
Another cast member in black: Pilou Asbæk (Euron Greyjoy):
Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm) keeps it classy:
Nathalie Emmanuel (Missandei) wore a fluffy tangerine dream at the New York premiere, which couldn’t be more different from her sleek black suit this time around. #Versatility:
Richard Dormer (Beric Dondarrion): scruffy beard, sharp suit.
Varys is bald but Conleth Hill has a magnificent mane:
And finally, the Stark kids reunited:
Game of Thrones season 8 airs this Sunday at 8:00 p.m. CST on HBO!
Okay, one more thing: 60 Minutes is airing a prerecorded interview with the Game of Thrones cast and crew this Sunday, featuring enormous Thrones nerd Anderson Cooper as host. And believe me, he’s a really big Game of Thrones nerd, at least if this appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is any indication:
I mean, geez, he’s breathless. He makes a good White Walker, too.
