Four predictions for Game of Thrones Episode 803

Who will die in the Battle of Winterfell?

This is a heavy question we don’t want to think about or answer, but we need to be realistic. There are going to be some brutal deaths this Sunday, some we see coming and others that will leave us floored.

Here’s who I’m thinking won’t live to see another day.

Grey Worm and/or Missandei

As Grey Worm and Missandei began speaking about a future together, my heart sank to the ground. This basically gives away that one or both of them will not make it through the Battle of Winterfell. Anytime someone plans for happy times ahead you know things are about to go horribly wrong.

Theon Greyjoy

Theon has a lot to make up for, and he plans to do it during the Battle of Winterfell by protecting Bran. He’s placing himself next to the person the Night King wants the most, so it’s safe to assume that Theon will be one of his many victims.

Brienne of Tarth

“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms” was so emotional and beautiful for Brienne. Seeing Jaime knight her was a tearjerking moment, but the pessimist in me can’t help but wonder if Brienne finally got what she wanted because she doesn’t have much time left. I fully expect to see her go out in glory as Ser Brienne of Tarth, but I’m still hoping for a miracle.

Gendry

After seeing Gendry and Arya get it on last week, a part of me really wants both of them to survive. Robert Baratheon’s words to Ned Stark from the series premiere keep whirling around in my head. “I have a son, you have a daughter. We’ll join our houses.” I really want this ship to make it, but something tells me Gendry will be taking his last breath come Sunday.
