Melisandre returns

Where is the Red Woman at, though? We last saw her at Dragonstone in season 7, telling Varys she’s heading back to Volantis. Varys said she should just stay there, but Melisandre replied that she would return to die in “this strange country,” just like him.

What better place for the Red Priestess to make her return than at the Battle of Winterfell? She could be bringing the Fiery Hand from Essos to help fight the dead. She’s always talking about saving humanity from a great darkness, and now is the time to put her money where her mouth is. Help Jon fight, make the Lord of Light happy.

Or she may already be in Winterfell, lurking in the background looking like the old woman she truly is. Perhaps she took off the necklace and will reveal herself at the right moment. Unless old age takes her first.

Also, Melisandre has to meet Arya again. She said as much back in season 3. There’s not much time left, so make it now!
