4. Euron Greyjoy vs Yara/Theon

The Lannisters may be the most messed-up family in Westeros, but the Greyjoys make a solid runner-up. In season 6, Euron beat out his niece Yara for rulership over the Iron Islands. They met again in season 7, after Yara and Theon fled to Meereen and made an ally out of Daenerys Targaryen. Euron trounced his niece and nephew in a battle at sea and took Yara hostage, marching her through the streets of King’s Landing and keeping her tied to a post on his ship for months afterward. Now she and Theon are both free, and someone’s gonna pay.

True, Theon is currently at Winterfell and Yara on the Iron Islands, but there are still several episodes left for the chess pieces to move around.

So would we rather see Theon or Yara take down their uncle? Theon’s conflict seems mostly to be about making up for the horrible things he’s done to the Stark family, and he’s well on his way. Yara has been more closely tied with Euron — he dashed her political dreams and then kept her in the brig for lord knows how long — so it’d probably be more satisfying to watch her wipe that psychopathic grin off Euron’s face.
