Jaime’s and Brienne’s swords

Jaime and Brienne are suited in their usual armor for the Battle of Winterfell, but it’s seeing them fight side by side using their Valyrian steel swords — Widow’s Wail for Jaime and Oathkeeper for Brienne — was a scene full of significance. Both of these swords we’re made from the melted remains of Ned Stark’s Valyrian steel sword, Ice, so in a way, “The Long Night” represents them coming home to Winterfell, defending the castle against enemies as Ned Stark would have.
