4. SHIPWRECKED: ARYA IN THE DEVIL’S PARADISE

It is known that those who sail west into the unknown Sunset Sea never return. And in fact, Arya never will return to Westeros. Did she sail off the edge of the world (or off the edge of that weirdly-curved map in the Game of Thrones opening credits) or is she alive in some exotic and far, far away place?

In this series, it turns out Arya’s vessel was sunk by a typhoon in distant, uncharted waters. Arya loses her ship and her entire crew, but she manages to swim to a mystical jungle island where the natives rescue her from drowning and nurse her back to health.

Arya’s time in paradise is short-lived, however. Her gentle hosts are under threat from armies of vicious cannibals who inhabit ancient ruins in the island interior. Resilient as ever, Arya uses her Faceless Man skills to not only avoid being eaten for lunch, but also to infiltrate the ranks of the enemy’s bizarre religious cults that command their dark armies.

Arya is caught between her desire to defend the innocents she’s sword to protect and the source of immense magical powers she senses haunting the island’s lost ruins. This is a tale of bravery, savagery, power and seduction, a journey into Arya’s heart of darkness.
